My Little Buckaroo

My grandfather, Clayton Thomas, was a man of many stories and many talents. For much of his life, he was a ferrier, and made a living putting shoes on racehorses. He used to sing me to sleep as a spud with this classic cowboy tune. One night, ol’ Papa Clay popped in my head, and I recorded the whole dang thing, cuz I couldn’t sleep.

Instruments Played:

voice, lap steep guitar, electric guitar, acoustic guitar, Wurli, fretless bass, drum machine.
