Share The Same Storm - The Velvet Hammer

A problem every musician/producer/composer has when working alone is getting the “live jam” sound. You need to anticipate what you “might” play as you’re recording parts.

My solution, has been to create a session band that lives in my head. I dubbed them THE VELVET HAMMER, and they really help me think outside of my own instincts. They are my internal Wrecking Crew, Swampers, J.B.s, or Steely Dan posse.
