Mission & offerings

I have been a multi-media artist, innovative educator, and creative entrepreneur for over 25 years. In short, I love to learn, and I love to teach. My passions and enthusiasm for the arts, self-learning, and personal development have led me to create a dynamic and personalized program that yields incredible results for all those that choose to study with me.

I craft and customize learning programs for beginners to professionals across instruments and voice, composition and creative writing, audio recording, digital music production, beat-making, DJing, photography, filmmaking, design layouts, and creative endeavors of all kinds.

In addition, I work with individuals and groups as a creative consultant, motivational mentor, project producer, and big-picture brainstormer. This includes organizations, schools, businesses, bands, entrepreneurs, and performers. I have a knack for helping folks forge their own path, their own way. Nothing makes me happier than inspiring people to chase their personal passions, learn new lifelong skills, and become confident and creative in any area their heart dreams of.

• WHO?
All ages, all locations, all skill levels, and all organizations are encouraged to reach out. I work with absolute beginners to seasoned professionals, and everyone in between. You will learn new things, progress immensely, and develop a self-learning system that suits your passions and your dreams—your way. You probably don’t even realize how much you already know.

• WHAT?
Every session is custom-tailored to each student’s personal needs and interests, because no two people learn the same way, and there is no such thing as “normal.” We all have our own paths, powers, and particulars. My goal is to help you unlock your native learning style, tackle troublesome blocks, and motivate you to teach yourself.

• WHEN?
You choose your own session times easily from my open booking calendar grid. Payment is securely processed upfront using your credit card via our integrated MakeMusic Studio portal to keep our administrative footprint non-existent and friction-free. For pre-approved Wisconsin CLTS waiver families, our specialized "$0.00 No Pay" calendar gates allow for seamless session-by-session authorization tracking.

• WHERE?
Out of the comfort of your own home, workspace, or studio. You’ve never done remote learning quite like this—We connect through my high-fidelity audio/video studio with multiple camera angles and synchronized audio feeds. Sessions can be recorded for your later review as well!

WEEKLY GROUP SESSIONS

🧠 Class 1: Creative Collaboration & Mindful Moods (Grades K-5)

• Target Group: Grades K–5 (Elementary)

• Schedule Options: Mondays & Wednesdays — Morning Pod (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM CST) or Afterschool Pod (4:45 PM – 5:30 PM CST)

Kids don't need a single tool, complex computer, or software program in front of them to join this room. They log right into our live class and become the ultimate creative directors. This is a class for the daydreamers, the motormouths, the wallflowers, and the goofballs.

We will work on brainstorming as a team, while engaging our individual ingenuity. We will teach each other, learn from each other, share ideas, and laugh together. We might make a story, or a song, or design a character. We’re going to use the power of play in a positive and productive way.

This kid-centric class provides an unboxed, high-energy, inviting playground built to turn digital interaction into active creative collaboration. Think of it as an SNL writers' room for elementary school kids.

What We Focus On:

• The Sharing Bridge: Gingerly encouraging quieter children to voice their individual ideas and gain confidence in an inviting, unboxed, fun environment.

• Turn-Taking Returns: Guiding high-energy, talkative kids to pause, take turns, actively listen to their teammates' creative input, and give helpful feedback too.

• Interactive Teamwork: Blending social-emotional learning with collaborative storytelling, showing kids how to play together across a digital screen creatively.

• Mindful Creation: Processing frustration, catching shifts in energy, and expressing internal feelings natively through creative artistic choices. We want you to share who you are, what you think, and what you like!

🛠️ Class 2: Multimedia Makers & Creative Crafts (Grades 6-12)

• Target Group: Homeschool Grades 6–12 / Afterschool Grades 6–8

• Schedule Options: Tuesdays & Thursdays — Morning Pod (10:30 AM – 11:30 AM CST) or Afterschool Pod (4:45 PM – 5:30 PM CST)

Students don’t need any gear, expensive software, or background experience to step into this mashup module. Any phone, tablet, or computer can get you started. This class is designed to pull back the curtain on how modern media is made from the ground up. We look at how music production, visual framing, graphic design, and dynamic writing all connect to form a finished project.

This crew will learn how everyday creative tech can be used for personal expression, learning the ropes and workflow behind shooting video, producing an audio track, writing rhymes or a story, and designing a layout or a poster. This serves as a foundational launchpad, showing students what is possible so they can build the confidence to explore their paths and passions in cross-disciplinary world building.

We aren’t the army, we’re the X-Men. We all have different soft spots, as well as superpowers. Collaboration is key.

• Production & Project Logic: Demystifying everyday digital platforms to strip away technical frustration and spark a genuine passion for self-directed creation.

• Executive Task Tactics: Training developing brains to naturally organize non-linear thoughts into a clear, structured production checklist from scratch.

• Finding Your Tribe: Exposing students to a supportive studio crew format so they can confidently identify their favorite artistic interests and meet like-minded makers. We all need to learn to constructively give and take feedback and praise.

• Autodidactic Individual Pride: Helping young creators see themselves as active artists, originators, innovators, and makers; building a distinct sense of ownership and personal expression.

🌌 Class 3: Entrepreneurial Arts & Artisan Trades (Grades 9-12)

• Target Group: High School (Grades 9–12)

• Schedule Options: Mondays & Wednesdays — Evening Pod (6:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST)

This is the next level. For high schoolers ready to stop treating their personal creativity like a casual hobby and start shaping it into a real path, this incubator is where everything connects. We look beyond basic programs to explore focused, deeper creative ideas—mapping out how a self-contained creator produces a song, builds a visual piece, writes a script, or launches an independent project or business.

By pulling back the curtain on how modern makers make stuff, and learning about some inspiring innovators of the past, students build their tech, business, and critical thinking skills. We want to turn your spark to a flame, fine-tune your personal working style, and explore transforming your passion into a self-directed career pathway. Let’s show you how to laser focus on your goals, and stay motivated when you inevitably stumble sometimes.

What We Focus On:

• You Do You: Transitioning from casual interests to productive personal passions. You’re smarter, more able, more adaptable, and more driven than you realize.

• Plan, Persevere, & Produce: Learning to brainstorm, explore, capture, develop, attack, produce, execute, and accomplish your dreams and goals.

• You Do It: Shifting focus away from basic school assignments toward freelance mechanics, self-employment, and independent workflow management. Autodidactic self-learning can be trained and focused.

• Small Steps, Stumbles, & Success: Cultivating the entrepreneurial mindset required to achieve personal independence, confidence, intelligence, and resilience. For those who have a calling to walk their own journey on self-directed life paths.

⚡ Class 4: Shifting Struggles to Superpowers (Grades 9-12)

• Target Group: High School (Grades 9–12)

• Schedule Options: Tuesdays & Thursdays — Evening Pod (6:30 PM – 7:30 PM CST)

High school can feel like a torturous trap sometimes when you don't fit into the standard, traditional box. If you are an outside-the-box thinker, navigating neurodivergent traits, or just kinda stuck and lost at the same time, this is built for you. We all can be our own best friend… and our own worst enemy. No matter where you go, there you are. So, learn to like it there.

We completely drop the classroom rules to focus on self-enrichment, accepting yourself, believing in yourself, and forgiving yourself for past academic or personal friction. Oh, and learning to laugh at yourself too. That’s actually the most important one.

For high schoolers staring down the future—asking "Where do I fit in? What do I do? Should I go to college? Where do I work? What does it all mean?"—we use project creation and open discussion to figure out how to grow as a person, and figure out what you want to do…or might want to do.

Maybe your intense hyperfocus, unique perspectives, daydreaming, special interests, deep or distant emotions, and raw energy are not obstacles to fix… but might just be your ultimate creative superpowers and secret strengths. They could be the tools you need to help you map out and forge your own authentic personal path. Maybe you don’t know you yet. We are ALL works in progress. You are not alone. • You Be You: Helping you confidently articulate individual senses and “big” feelings, communicate unique creative visions, navigate executive function dysfunction, and this wacky thing called life. Normal is boring. Be yourself.
